Due to a change in the Montana regulations for lion permits, outfitters no longer receive guaranteed permits for their clients. Therefore, we have eliminated our "pre-scheduled" lion hunt. It is up to you to obtain your Montana lion hunting permit prior to setting up a hunt with us. Mountain lion hunts can be arranged by contacting us once you have received your permit. If you are successful in obtaining a lion permit, you may then call us to inquire about a guided hunt. When the beginning of December rolls around and the snow has started to fall, everyone with hounds is geared up to chase mountain lions! From the first sight of fresh lion tracks, to the very end of the hunt, this is one of the most exhilarating experiences lion enthusiasts will ever have!

We have a very good population of lions in our area, sometimes way too many! This is due in part to the quota The Montana Fish & Game has put on the number of lions that can be taken in different areas. That limits us on the amount of lion hunters we take each year. In past years, we have taken only four hunters per year with our success running at 100%. We use 4x4's and snowmobiles to access the lion hunting areas. Our guides and well trained hounds do most of the work. You just have to get to the tree!
